2025-2026 Season

Welcome to our 21st Season

Welcome to the New McCree Theatre’s 21st Season of empowering and enlightening theatre productions.  This Season we are reiterating the power of theatre with August Wilson’s play set in the 2nd decade of the 20thCentury, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, bringing us a story about reclaiming our heritage and rediscovering our identity.  We then take you to a fan favorite, The Motown Story, a story that conveys that never to be forgotten adage,“if you can believe it, you can achieve it.” Lastly, we close our 2025-2026 Season with The Elaine Arkansas Massacre, a play intentionally messaged to our younger generation the struggles, hardships, and resilience our ancestors had to endure to bring us to our current space, in hopes it will rekindle their collective pride and purpose. So that it is not all so heavy, our youth are bringing you The Wizard of Oz, a lighthearted romp to the Emerald City by Dorothy and her Friends.  Enjoy our new Season!
